They were experiencing about 3,119 total hits, two-thirds of which were the result of someone typing in their URL address directly. Midwife, Barb Rudell, asked for a website that would make women aware of their childbirthing choices in southwest Michigan. She offers one of the only water birthing sights in the state. Not only did she need a website, but she also needed it to come up on the first page of search engine results when someone searched for "michigan water birth" and several other terms. They are listed first in the Google Maps section (notice the red, "A" stickpin), their website is listed in the 3RD organic position, their yellow page ad appears in the 6TH position, they are listed in the home builders association which appears in the the 9TH position, and they also appear in the industry directory listed in the 10TH position. That's positioning. No matter where in the organic listing the browser looks, there's a 50% chance they will come across Paragon's website.
